Important Points to Consider in the Caravan Gas System

Key Considerations for the Gas System

1. Gas Usage: Our products use gas only for the stove and the water heater (boiler). It is essential to follow these guidelines for the correct use and safety of the gas system. 2. Gas Cylinder and Regulator: A gas cylinder and regulator are not provided with the product. Users must procure their own gas cylinders and suitable regulators. 3. Regulator Use and Safety: When connecting the gas cylinder to the system, always use a 30 mbar pressure reducing regulator (low-pressure regulator). Failure to use the appropriate low pressure regulator can result in gas entering the stove and boiler system at excessively high pressure, leading to serious hazards such as gas flaring and explosion risks 4. Leakage Check: After making gas system connections, it is important to check for any leaks. This can be done by applying soapy water to the connection points and looking for bubbles that indicate a leak. 5. Ventilation: Ensure that areas where gas is used are well-ventilated. In case of a gas leak inside the caravan, proper ventilation will prevent gas accumulation. 6. Regular Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the gas system and connections. This is crucial to prevent potential leaks and malfunctions. By adhering to these precautions and using the appropriate low-pressure regulator, you can safely operate the gas systems in your caravan. Always follow these guidelines to prevent potential hazards and maintain a safe environment within your caravan.
