HEATING AND COOLING

SECTION 6.6 Refrigerators

The Gladiator can be fitted with a 12/24V DC compressor refrigerator, either the Indel B Cruise 42 or the Berhimi 49-litre model.

Both models use a compressor design that gives stable cooling even while the vehicle is moving or on a slope, and run on low energy to stay battery-friendly. Instructions for use

Operate the refrigerator on a 12V or 24V DC supply. Make sure it is on a level, stable surface before first use. Wait a while after switching on for the cooling to stabilise. Place pre-cooled products inside rather than hot ones. Open the lid for as short a time as possible.

Installation and ventilation

Leave enough ventilation space at the back and sides. Never cover the ventilation openings; poor airflow reduces cooling and increases energy use. Secure the device according to the installation instructions.

Cleaning and electricity

Disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Wipe the inner surfaces with a damp, soft, non-abrasive cloth. Clean the condenser area and ventilation channels of dust periodically. Protect the supply line with a suitable cable cross-section and fuse. Low battery voltage can make the device shut down automatically.
