SECTION 7.4 Thule Omnistor

The Thule Omnistor is a durable manual awning with a cassette or open-arm system. The awning fabric resists sun and light rain.

Opening the awning

Check the wind, slope and obstacles and choose a safe area. Securely attach the manual lever to the marked point on the awning cassette. Slowly and carefully pull the fabric outward with your arm. When fully open, secure the arm in place and make sure the fabric is evenly taut.

Closing the awning

Loosen the fasteners or lift the awning foot. Carefully roll the fabric inward with the manual crank, keeping it smooth and free of wrinkles. When fully retracted, close the cassette cover and check that the system is locked.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

Do not apply sudden force during opening and closing; the mechanism can be damaged. Never open the awning in strong wind or storm conditions.
