System Power Button: Press the system power button to start the system.

Device and Energy Power Button: Press the power button to activate the devices and energy inside the caravan. After pressing this button, all systems inside the caravan will be operational. Hydrofor Button: Press the hydrofor button to use water. The hydrofor will operate briefly, and the water will be ready for use.

External Lighting Button: Press the external lighting button to illuminate the exterior.

Battery Control Buttons: Press the front and rear battery control buttons to check the batteries. The left button checks the living battery, while the right button checks the vehicle’s battery.

Clean Water Level Check: Press to check the clean water level.

Gray Water Tank Warning: When the gray water tank reaches 80% capacity, the indicator panel will display a red warning sign. In this case, the gray water needs to be emptied.

220V Electrical Connection To charge the vehicle and use 220V power, it is necessary to connect to an electrical source. Follow these steps:

Plug one end of the 1/16 (3/16) 220V electrical cable provided with the caravan into the 3/16 (16A) 220V covered inlet mounted on the caravan’s body.

Connect the other end to the city power grid.

IMPORTANT:

When connecting to the city power grid, use a single connection point rather than multiple connection points to avoid electrical fluctuations that can damage the inverter. Once connected, the caravan will automatically detect the presence of 220V and switch to operating on 220V power. Be sure to fully extend the provided extension cable inside the caravan to ensure proper operation.

Filling Clean Water

The covered and locked storage compartment located at the left rear part of the caravan is used to fill clean water. To fill the tank, lift the external cover upwards, open the rotating storage cap provided with the caravan, and turn it to the left. Use a hose to fill the opened storage compartment with water. Once the water filling process is complete, securely lock the storage compartment. While filling the caravan with water, press the water level indicator button on the CBE control panel inside the caravan to monitor the water level, which ranges from 1/3 to 3/3.

IMPORTANT:

• Please avoid using the clean water in your caravan as drinking water. • Whenever possible, fill the tank with water from trusted and clean sources. • Do not use well water, as it can cause calcification and void the warranty.

Outdoor Shower Usage Your caravan is equipped with a hot-cold external shower located inside the left rear door. To adjust the water temperature, rotate the valve shown in the adjacent picture 180° to the right or left. Move the lever as indicated in the diagram to turn on the water, adjusting the flow to the right or left as needed. You can activate the water flow by pressing the shower head. After using the external shower, ensure that it is turned off completely.

Failure to close the external shower during travel can lead to water leakage. Any issues arising from water inside the caravan due to this will be your responsibility. IMPORTANT:

Inverter Usage

Inside the caravan, there is a permanent supply of 12V electricity when the battery is charged. The inverter can be turned on and off using the black switch. When 220V electricity is required, the inverter converts the 12V electricity to 220V, which can be used with the sockets inside the caravan. To activate the inverter, press the power button.

Devices with a maximum power of 1000W at 220V can be plugged into the caravan’s sockets. If devices exceeding 1000W are used, the inverter will enter an overload condition and emit an audible warning.

Operating the inverter in an overloaded state can cause it to burn out, and this will be the user’s responsibility.

Solar Panels

The caravan is equipped with solar panels that can meet daily power needs. No specific actions are required to use the panels. They store more energy during hours when the

sunlight is directly overhead. However, covered panels may weaken the charge. Points to Consider; Cable Connections: Before travel, ensure all cable connections are proper and secure. Cables should not be exposed to excessive tension or friction. Regular Cleaning: Solar panels need to be cleaned regularly to maintain efficiency. Dirt, dust, and other debris on the panels can reduce performance. Avoiding Shade: Make sure that the panels are not shaded. Shade can significantly reduce energy production. Winter Maintenance: Do not allow snow and ice to accumulate on the panels during cold weather. These accumulations should be cleaned off. Protect the panels from hail damage.

Failures that may occur due to not cleaning the panels for an extended period are the responsibility of the user.

Eberspacher Usage

Menus and functions

The Eberspacher control panel provides a range of menus and functions to manage the heating and ventilation systems. Rotate the control button to the right to select from the following menus:

• The ventilation function is displayed only if the heating device supports this function. The timer function cannot be used in vehicles operating under ADR.

• ADR operation is available only for vehicles involved in the transportation of dangerous goods on roadways (e.g., fuel supply vehicles)

Status Bar

When a menu is activated (Heating, Ventilation, Settings, Timer, or Remaining Heat), different information is displayed in the status bar. These details are explained in the relevant sections of the user manual.

Input Field Indicator

Example: Heating ON Operating time 107 min.

In the menu bar, the icon of the selected menu item is displayed in the middle of the screen. The corresponding setting value blinks in the input field and can be adjusted by rotating the control button to the right or left and confirmed by pressing it.

Heating

A flashing heating icon is displayed in the menu bar as a start indicator, with the current temperature and the status of the heating device.

Heating operation starts instantly with the last used operating time. The LED ring lights up in red, and the remaining duration of the heating operation is displayed.

The LONG PRESS function cannot be used in fan and remaining heat operations.

2. Heating ON with Settings:

Press the control button. Select the operating time by turning the control button.

Select and confirm the target temperature additionally in air heating devices.

Confirm the operating time by turning the control button.

Heating operation starts with the set operating time. The LED ring lights up in red, and the remaining duration of the heating operation and the current temperature are displayed.

Heating operation ends after the set operating time has elapsed.

If an air heating device is controlled with EasyStart Pro, the desired temperature can also be set during the heating operation.

Changing the Operating Time During Heating Operation

Press the control button. Select the blinking menu.

Choose and confirm.

Rotate the control button to adjust the settings. Choose and confirm. Rotate the control button to set the desired operating time and confirm by pressing it.

Select and confirm the target temperature first in air heating devices. The heating operation continues with the set operating time. The LED ring lights up in red, and the remaining duration of the heating operation is displayed.

To turn off heating during operation,

Press the control button. Select the blinking menu

and confirm. Press the control button again when the OFF indicator is blinking. Heating operation is terminated.

Heating operation is instantly terminated via LONG PRESS, and all other connected heating devices are also turned off. If the heating device is connected to the vehicle’s battery (e.g., private car), the operating time of the heating device should not exceed the later travel time of the vehicle to ensure the vehicle’s battery is sufficiently charged.

Example:

Ventilation ON with Settings:

Press the control button. Rotate the control button to select and confirm the operating time or confirm the preset operating time. Fan operation starts with the set operating time. The LED ring lights up in blue, and the remaining duration of the fan operation is displayed.

Fan operation ends after the set operating time has elapsed.

Changing the Operating Time During Fan Operation

Press the control button. Select and confirm the blinking menu

Fan operation continues with the set operating time. The LED ring lights up in blue, and the remaining duration of the fan operation and the current temperature are displayed. Choose and confirm the settings by rotating the control button Set the desired operating time by turning it and confirm by pressing.

To turn off ventilation during operation,

Press the control button. Select and confirm the blinking menu. Press the control button again when the OFF indicator is blinking. Fan operation is terminated.

Fan operation instantly ends via LONG PRESS. All connected heating devices are turned off.

The LED ring flashes red when an error occurs. If the error message is acknowledged by pressing the control button, the ring no longer flashes.

Reset User Settings

Sellect and confirm. Choosing YES resets the user settings on the EasyStart Pro and deletes the programmed timer date and other settings. Selecting NO retains the existing user settings of the EasyStart Pro.

Water Heating

Truma Therme Boiler

The Truma Therme boiler uses available heat from the heater to warm the water. Hot air passes directly through the device, heating the water, ensuring you always have hot water, especially during cold days in spring and autumn, for activities such as washing hands or brushing teeth. When the heater is not used, an electric heating element quickly and efficiently heats the water.

Switching on Truma Therme:

Use the control unit to switch on the Truma Therme. The control light indicates that the device is operational. The thermostat adjusts the water temperature to 65°C.

Power Supply:

Operates with low power consumption, allowing use with a 12V inverter. Can integrate with all blown heaters. Provides independent water heating without the need for another heater.

Usage:

Truma Therme meets short-term hot water needs, providing hot water for sink usage with its compact design. Can be used as an electric heater with the optional 220V connection kit.

Compatibility:

Works with all normal immersion pumps up to a maximum of 1.2 bar.

Safety Warnings

Read the user manual thoroughly before operation. The cabin owner is responsible for using the device according to its intended purpose. The Therme should never be operated with electricity without water. Turn off the device when the cabin is not in use. Empty the device when there is a risk of freezing. The boiler must be drained when the air temperature drops below +3°C. Warranty claims cannot be made for damages caused by freezing.

Draining of Truma Therme

If the cabin is not going to be used during freezing periods, the Therme must be completely emptied.

Cut off the power to the water pump (from the main switch or transformer).

Drain the water from the tank (or remove the water pump from the tank).

Open the water valves in the kitchen and/or bathroom, and if available, turn the pre-blending valves to the hot side.

Fully open the drainage and ventilation valves by turning them.

Place a suitable container (5 liters) under the drainage outlet of the discharge valve to collect the draining water. Ensure the water (5 liters) has completely emptied.

Maintenance

The device must be descaled regularly (at least twice a year). Use suitable care products sold in the market for Therme cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance. Products containing chlorine are not suitable.

Turning the Refrigerator On and Off

To turn on the refrigerator, press the on/off button for 10 seconds. The blue light on the on/off button will illuminate, indicating that the refrigerator is on. To turn off the refrigerator, press the on/off button for 2 seconds.

Temperature Selection

Press the degree button to select the cooling level between 1 and 5. For energy savings, it is recommended to use level 3 (16°-25°C).

Activation of Night Mode

To activate night mode, press the night mode button. The blue light indicates that night mode is selected. In night mode, the cooling unit operates at a low speed, minimizing noise and power consumption. The recommended ambient temperature for night mode is 16°-32°C.level 3 (16°-25°C).

IMPORTANT:

When the batteries drop below 12V, the refrigerator will not cool even if it is running. The refrigerator is installed to operate on both 12V and 220V. No action is needed for the transition between 12V and 220V. Do not cover the ventilation section on top of the refrigerator.

A/C (Air Conditioner) Usage

To avoid damaging the compressor, please ensure not to travel on slopes steeper than 8% while the device is operational when on the road (e.g., when the generator or voltage converter is in use). Due to the possibility that condensation water produced during operation may not drain away, do not allow the device to operate in cooling mode for an extended period in a tilted position to prevent the risk of this liquid penetrating the interior of the vehicle. For the smooth operation of the device and to prevent damage, the supply voltage should always come from a source with a sinusoidal waveform and no sudden voltage spikes (e.g., voltage converter, generator). Ensure that no water enters the inside of the device/unit when cleaning the vehicle (e.g., using a high-pressure cleaner). Do not spray water directly onto the device or unit. Avoid using high-temperature cleaners and steam cleaners.

Instructions for Using Ventilation Units

The ventilation unit is designed for power consumption up to 2.8A. Before operating, ensure the fuse system of the power supply at the campsite is adequate. Park your vehicle in the shade whenever possible. To prevent radiant heat from penetrating your vehicle, darken the interior with sunshades. Clean the vehicle’s roof regularly, as dirty roofs can cause the interior to heat up more quickly. Before operating the device, ventilate the interior of your vehicle well to allow hot air to escape. To create a healthy environment inside your vehicle, the temperature difference between inside and outside should not be too high. The air circulating inside must be purified and dried. Air free from humidity plays an important role in creating a pleasant environment inside the vehicle even with small temperature differences. To prevent condensation from forming on the air distributor, keep all doors and windows closed while the device is cooling the environment. For faster cooling, set the fan speed to high, adjust the air distribution to medium for front/rear, and set the air distribution to the ceiling for floor/ ceiling.

IR Receiver and Operation Indicator

The IR receiver and the manual on/off receiver (m) have an additional push button. In case of remote control loss, you can switch the air conditioner on and off by pressing this button with the tip of a ballpoint pen or a similar object. If the unit is switched on using this button, the system will automatically reset to factory settings (Auto mode, 22°C).

Red LED lights up: The unit indicates a malfunction. Switch the unit off, wait a short time, then switch it on again. If the red LED remains on, contact Truma Service.

You can get more efficient air and cooling by using the air distributor settings of the air conditioner.

Starting the Device

Ensure the campsite’s power supply fuse system is sufficient (220V). The cabinet’s power cord may be damaged due to overheating. Use a minimum cross-section of 3x2.5 mm² and fully unwind the cable reel. ! To execute individual switching commands, aim the remote control at the infrared receiver.

Switching the unit on:

Press the On/Off button on the remote control to switch on the ventilation unit. After switching on, the air circulation fan starts to run. The compressor activates within 3 minutes, and the blue LED lights up.

Temperature:

Adjust the temperature using the “+” and “–” buttons from the room temperature settings.

Mode:

Adjust the desired operating mode by pressing the “MODE” button once or multiple times (Cooling, Automatic, Air Circulation). When the room temperature is selected using the remote control, this value corresponds to the cooling mode. The compressor turns off, and the blue LED on the IR receiver turns off. The air circulation fan continues to operate for ventilation. If the room temperature exceeds the normal limit, the device will automatically return to cooling mode. During air cooling, the air is dehumidified. If the atmospheric humidity inside the vehicle is excessively high when the cooling process starts, moisture may form at the bottom of the air distributor. Therefore, doors and windows should be kept closed, and the fan speed should be set to the highest level.

In automatic mode, the fan speed is selected based on the room temperature.

In air recirculation mode, the air inside the vehicle is circulated and cleaned with a filter. There is no LED lighting on the IR receiver in this mode.

Fan:

Adjust the fan speed to the desired level by pressing the fan level button once or multiple times; (Low, Medium, High) - (Not used in automatic mode.)

Sleep Function:

When active, both the internal and external fans operate at low speed and quietly.

Turning off the device:

Turn off the device by pressing the On/Off button on the remote control. The remote control and unit will turn off. Ambient lighting can still be operated using the “Ambient Lighting” button. If the ventilation unit is turned on again, the blue LED will light up. The air circulation fan operates, and the compressor starts itself after a maximum of 3 minutes.

Timer:

Set the real-time using the time setting buttons. The time is always displayed on the screen (except for timer on/off). The time must be reset after changing the battery or daylight saving time. Timer On/Off: The ventilation unit on/off time can be set from the current time for a minimum of 15 minutes up to a maximum of 24 hours. Program the unit with the remote control, set the desired operating mode and room temperature, then use the “Timer Selection Buttons” to choose “Timer On” or “Timer Off.” Set the desired on/off time and confirm. To reactivate the timer function, press the relevant timer button. Ambient Lighting With independent operation of the ventilation system, the lighting in the air distributor can be switched on or off by pressing the “Ambient Lighting” button. To dim the lighting, press and hold the “Ambient Lighting” button. Press the button to switch the lighting on or off. When the light comes on again, the previous setting is activated.

Setting Again Settings on the remote control: “AUTO, 22°C, 12:00, No timer, No light” Resend: The latest settings are transmitted again.

IR Receiver and Manual On/Off

The IR receiver and the manual on/off receiver have an additional push button. In case of remote control loss, you can switch the air conditioner on and off by pressing this button with the tip of a ballpoint pen or a similar object. If the unit is switched on using this button, the system will automatically reset to factory settings (Auto mode, 22°C).

Awning Usage

To use the awning, follow these steps:

Extending the Awning:

Use the handle provided with the cabin. Attach this handle to the designated spot shown in the picture and turn it. When the awning is fully extended (approximately 2.5m), a slight sagging will occur in the awning fabric. Adjust the tension of the fabric by slightly rewinding. Open the legs at the bottom of the awning and adjust them to the desired height. To fix the awning legs to the ground, use the fixing nails provided with the cabin. If the ground is not suitable, the awning can be fixed to the plastic brackets on the side of the vehicle.

Important Precautions:

Be sure to check the turn handle and ground nails when you receive your cabin. An unfixed awning can be damaged by the wind. Always check that the awning is fully closed before setting off.

Any damage resulting from failure to fulfill these obligations is the responsibility of the user.

Fuse Board Usage

The fuse panel is located in the right rear seat of the cabin. There is information about the fuses on the cabinet cover. The fuse panel contains both 12V and 220V electricity. Do not attempt to service or modify the fuse panel without contacting technical support.

Any issues that arise from unauthorized intervention will be the responsibility of the user.

Sink and Shower Usage

To use the water system in the cabin, the booster must be switched on.

Kitchen and Bathroom Sinks:

Water use in the kitchen and bathroom sinks is controlled with an on off mechanism. Both hot and cold water are available in all sinks.

Shower Use:

- -

The shower operates with an on-off mechanism. Avoid keeping materials that can get wet in the bathroom during shower use.

Cabinet Usage

All cabinet doors in the cabin are equipped with push-to-release handles.

Opening the Cabinet Doors: To open the locker doors, press the handles and then lift them slightly upwards. Travel Precaution: Ensure that all cabinet handles and doors are securely closed while traveling to prevent any damage or accidents. !

Mounting and Dismounting the Gladiator Cabin Instructions for Using the Legs of the Gladiator Product

Removing the Gladiator Body from the Vehicle

Mounting the Gladiator Body onto the Vehicle 1. Removing Inverted Legs: When removing the Gladiator body from the vehicle, carefully detach the inverted legs. 2. Loosening the Straps: Loosen the straps and detach them from the vehicle hooks. Ensure that this process is done carefully to avoid any damage. 3. Mounting the Legs: Attach the legs to the Gladiator body so that they rest on the ground. Ensure the stability of the product during this process. 4. Raising the Legs: Using a cordless drill, raise the body sequentially by the legs without disturbing the balance of the product. Be careful to maintain the balance of the body during this process. 5. Detaching from the Vehicle: Once the Gladiator body is no longer in contact with the vehicle, move the vehicle away, leaving the body alone. 6. Adjusting the Legs to a Safe Height: Using a cordless drill, raise the legs to a safe height of approximately 30 cm from the ground, ensuring the body’s balance is maintained. 1. Adjusting the Legs’ Height: Using a cordless drill, adjust the legs to a height suitable for mounting the body on to the vehicle. 2. Moving the Vehicle: Using a cordless drill, carefully lower the body by the legs, ensuring stability. 3. Lowering the Body: Using a cordless drill, carefully lower the body by the legs, ensuring stability. 4. Removing the Legs: Detach the legs once they are no longer bearing any weight. 5. Securing with Straps: Secure the body onto the vehicle by attaching the straps to the rings on the vehicle and tightening them. 6. Storing the Legs: If the legs are to be used for balance at the campsite, attach them inverted onto the body. If not in use, store them in the garage.

Important Warnings and Precautions;

Avoid Elevated Storage: When the Gladiator product is not in use, never leave it elevated. The legs should only be extended during the process of loading and unloading from the vehicle. Continuous loading of the cabin’s weight on the legs can strain the gear mechanism. Proper Leg Adjustment: When the cabins are not in use, always retract the legs to their shortest length and place supporting blocks under the cabin to bear the weight. Choosing a Parking Spot and Ensuring Stability: When parking in open areas, always select a flat surface. Be aware that windy conditions can cause balance issues. Placing a supporting unit under the alcove outside the cabin increases stability. Please implement this measure for long term storage. Booster Operation: If the booster continues to operate with noise at the first start-up, it indicates that either the water tank is empty or there is a water leak. Turn off the switch and check the system. Grey Water Tank: If the tank indicator light illuminates on the instrument panel, the grey water (sink-shower) must be drained. The grey water tank should be empty during travel to avoid full water tank warnings. Fuse Control: All devices and electrical equipment inside the cabin have fuses located in the cabinet with a cover under the sink. If a device is not working, check the fuse. 220V City Network Connection: The 220V city network connection is available at the back of the cabin. Use the cable provided at delivery to connect. If a city network connection is unavailable, 220V can be used by pressing the switch on the inverter control. Only devices up to 1000W should be operated with the inverter. Any malfunction of the inverter due to overloading is the user’s responsibility. Gas Cylinder Connection: For users in America, the hose connection for the gas cylinder requires a low-pressure regulator. We are so confident our caravans will stand the test of time that Hotomobil offers a 2 Year Structural & Manufacturer Warranty as standard.

This warranty is designed to reduce the financial impact of unexpected and potentially expensive repair to your Caravan.

Your Caravan will be covered for a further period beyond the standard warranty period. This policy shall be read in conjunction with the Hotomobil Warranty and Service Manual Handbook. This is provided as part of the OEM documentation for you.

Caravans are complex. Many components are provided by other manufacturers. For example Chassis, Suspensions, Televisions and Refrigerators are not manufactured by Hotomobil and carry their own warranties. Hotomobil installs every item in accordance with the respective manufacturer’s instructions. If a supplier warranty issue arises, Hotomobil will help an owner make a warranty claim to these individual component manufacturers Your warranty commences on the day you collect your caravan. If you require assistance, all warranty repair work must be approved by Hotomobil after information and carried out by a selected repairer after notifying Hotomobil. Please Note: Hotomobil is here to assist you in any way we can. If a problem arises and you are having difficulties contacting any of the suppliers, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us. If an optional extension of the warranty period is desired, the 2-year warranty period can be increased to 4 years by simply purchasing a warranty extension when purchasing the product. Any damage due to misuse, fire, accident, theft, impact, submersion in water, neglect, abuse, infestation by animals, rodents, insects, rust, corrosion. Items not installed by the original Caravan manufacturer or fitted after the sale of the Caravan. Any damage caused by towing with incorrect tyre pressure, overloading, incorrect towing equipment. Hotomobil warrants product materials against seam failure, fabric separation, and function defects for one year.
